The Department of Defense wants to ensure that service members have access to a wide variety of postsecondary education opportunities that meet standards of quality and value. Providing access to specialized degree programs that maintain the highest standards of academic quality while staying within the military tuition assistance cap can be challenging for institutions. This presentation aims to show how leveraging technology, such as virtual environments can provide military students, regardless of duty station with access to affordable educational opportunities in technical degree programs.
