Tee Off for the Night Stalker Hero Memorial Fund of Savannah

Golf tournament will be held on Feb. 10, in conjunction with the Council of College and Military Educators' (CCME) 2014 Professional Development Symposium.

Savannah, Ga. - December 18, 2013 - To honor the fallen soldiers of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) "Night Stalkers" of Hunter Army Airfield, the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is hosting a golf tournament on Monday, Feb. 10. All proceeds raised will go to the Night Stalker Hero Memorial Fund of Savannah Foundation, Inc. (NSHMoSF).

The Night Stalker regiment is the Army's premier night fighting aviation force, and the only Special Operations Aviation force. The NSHMoSF recognizes those Night Stalkers who gave their lives, whether during combat or training missions. Since the regiment’s creation in 1990, 20 Night Stalkers have had their names added to the NSHMoSF's list of heroes.

The tournament kicks off at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at The Club at Savannah Harbor. Tickets can be purchased as an individual, or with the Lil Big ticket package. To learn more about the golf tournament, or to sponsor a hole, please visit ccmeonline.org.
