CCME Hosting Largest Gathering of Military Educators in 2015 for Annual Professional Symposium

The conference, "Innovative Pathways to Military Student Success," is now seeking sponsors and exhibitors to participate in projected record-breaking attendance year.

Anaheim, Cali. - June 19, 2014 — When reflecting on Anaheim, one's mind normally goes directly to "The House of the Mouse," but in 2015 the city will transform into the forefront of military and civilian distance education expertise when the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) hosts their annual professional development symposium. This year's conference, "Innovative Pathways to Military Student Success," is projected to not only have more than 1,000 attendees, but to be the largest gathering of its kind for postsecondary educational professionals this year.

This year's symposium will take place from January 26-29 and will be held in the Anaheim Marriott. Aside from CCME's usual focus on military and veteran students’ education, this year's event will investigate the innovation that not only enhances student success, but also the technology that allows for these advancing techniques.

"CCME is known for our unique drive to create, enhance and deliver education and support services specifically suited for the needs of our military and veteran student population," said Jim Yeonopolus, CCME's president. "This year's event hopes to take our previous successes and build on it by focusing on the technology - and the genius that goes into it - that helps our universities and students succeed, rather than just the methodologies."
