Tee Off for Volunteers of America of Los Angeles/Supportive Services for Veteran Families

Golf tournament will be held on Monday, January 26, in conjunction with the Council of College and Military Educators’ (CCME) 2015 Professional Development Symposium.

Yorba Linda, CA.— September 8, 2014 — The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is hosting a golf tournament on Monday, Jan. 26. All proceeds raised will go to Volunteers of America of Los Angeles/Supportive Services for Veteran Families.

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program is a Rapid-Rehousing/Homeless Prevention program that works towards securing permanent housing for Veteran/Veteran Families who are homeless or at "imminent" risk of becoming homeless.

The tournament kicks off at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at Black Gold Golf Club. Tickets can be purchased as an individual, or with golf package and sponsorships. The 2015 CCME Professional Development Symposium is just around the corner. It will be held January 26-29 at the Anaheim Marriott, Anaheim, CA. This year's theme is: Innovative Pathways to Military Student Success.
